It comes as no surprise to us that the C-Planet Group of online casinos have been rogued by well-known casino and affiliate watchdog Casinomeister (aka Bryan Bailey). Casinomeister accused the program of detagging players from affiliate accounts. To put it blunt this is outright theft! Online casinos that belong to the C-Planet Group are Cherry Red, Rushmore, Pure Vegas and Slots Oasis.
Casinomeister states that it had more than 1,000 players who deposited via the site’s affiliate links from April 2008 to June 2010. Casinomeister noted that irrespective of the amount of player deposits not a cent had been earned in affiliate commission. Since players are rather fickle creatures, Casinomeister initially thought that many players have quite playing at this group. Now this is where it becomes interesting. A casino representative started a forum thread a while ago at Casinomeister prompting players to respond stating that their accounts were still active with Rushmore- which caused Brian Bailey to became suspicious.
Forum members were asked by Casinomeister if they still had active accounts at Rushmore which they signed up at via Casinomeister’s affiliate links. From the looks of things C-Planet has detagged players from Casinomeister. Casinomeister requested an immediate explanation from C-Planet management which has fallen on deaf ears. This incident just adds more fuel to the fire when it comes to C-Planet.
In May, 2012 Cassaon-casino received an e-mail from C-Planet where it stated that our affiliate commission has been dropped from 40% to 25%, reason being we were not pushing them hard enough. To be honest C-Planet is the only affiliate program to drop affiliate commissions outright without discussing it with affiliates first.
C-Planet Slow Player Payments
A couple of months ago we rogued C-Planet because they’ve been giving players the run-around with regard to payments. This prompted many players to approach various prominent online gambling forums such as CAP (Casinoaffiliateprograms), GPWA and Affiliate Guard Dog to lodge complaints and to warn other players against the group. We gave them the benefit of the doubt at one stage but to no avail.
Another one “bites the dust”, which is a pity really since C-Planet was once the program of choice for affiliates since they had a high player turnover from the United States and from the rest of the world.
As of November 2011 many affiliates stated that C-Planet was still their US-facing program of choice since affiliate and player payments were processed quickly and without any hassles. Since then this group of online casinos left a bitter taste in the mouths of many affiliates due to poor service and dubious business ethics hence the reason they’ve been rogued by Casinomeister.
