The owner of Newcastle United footbal club, Mike Ashley, who has made a fortune with his football club was recently seen playing craps at Aspers Casino, which is located in Newcastle.
The football club manager and the Newcastle United football team manager, Alan Perdew, decided to visit Aspers Casino and took to the craps table at around about eleven in the evening.
Ashley was having a whale of a time at the craps table where he was up £130 000 when he decided to lock £100 000 of his winnings and carried on playing at the craps table with the remaining £30 000. After a few losing streaks ashley had gambled away the £30 000 and he decided to go into his player account.
According to fellow patrons Ashley was wagering tens of thousands of pounds on each bet, unfortunately for Ashley after five hours and nearly £1 000 000 down he was finally convinced to give up at the craps table.
The billionaire who also created Sports World which is the largest sporting goods retail company in the UK, will find that his estimated networth of £2 billion will have decreased by £700 000.
Even after losing a small fortune at the craps table, Ashley was gracious enough to tip the dealer £700.
