Cybergambling:Donald Trump For U.S President?

Donald Trump will regulated internet gambling if he's elected U.S president in 2016

The coiffed, crass billionaire announced that he’s standing for office and he wants to achieve the American dream.

In this article I’m going to explore the pros and cons and how it will impact internet gambling in the United States-assuming Trump gets elected. I really can’t see this happening but one never knows.

In a recent press statement Trump said the following: ”If I become the next president of the United States I’ll build a ”great wall” on the border to stop Mexicans from crossing over, I’ll tax China until they behave properly and create so much employment that I become the greatest jobs president that God ever created.”

This according to Trump will make America great again. From the above it’s pretty evident that he intends on creating an Utopian society. Most folk see it as extremely presumptuous and discriminatory. As it is many journalists tried to keep a …

SEO And Casino Affiliates

As webmasters who promote online casinos we’re for ever in pursuit of more traffic, especially from Google. With the advent of Panda, Penguin and Hummingbird, Google practically decimated most pop and mom websites.

In this article I’m going to discuss the SEO basics and how to restore your site’s traffic if it incurred an algo penalty.

Overview of Google’s Algorithm Updates

Most webmasters, including myself feel that Google has become relentless with its updates. To a certain extent I agree with Google since many webmasters were gaming the system by using blackhat techniques to rank their sites. Before I get into the meat of this article I’d like to give you a brief overview on the Panda, Penguin and Hummingbird updates first.

Panda: In February 2011, Google launched Panda, it was named after the software engineer Panda who devised it. Panda is not concerned with how many backlinks your website …

Online Gambling:Industry Experts View

I had the pleasure of interviewing three prominant individuals within the online gambling industry recently. They are Onlinecasinoreports.com, Jesse Eddleman (Potentialeight.com) and Topboss Group (Heather Gartland).

I’ve asked each of them some thought-provoking questions and where do they see the industry in another 5 years time. I’m not going to discuss each and every question only the most relevant ones.

Onlinecasinoreports.com needs little introduction. This portal casino has been online since 1999 and a powerhouse when it comes to player retention, the latest gambling news, game rules, in-depth online casino and game reviews.

Onlinecasinoreports: Has the ”Golden Days” of online gambling come to an end and is the industry properly regulated?

”I can honestly say that during the “Golden Days” we as affiliates faced very little competition, regretably those days have gone the way of the Dodo. However, I must point out that change and competition has done the industry …

You Be The Judge

Recently I got an email from an affiliate manager at EU Casino asking us to promote his outfit.

Before I sign up with any new program I do the customary search on it first just to see if there’s any ”dirt” on it. Suffice it to say the program has a less than stellar reputation and this is the page that came up: http://thepogg.com/skillonnet-software-non-randomnot-fair/

More on ThePogg.com

I’d like to give you a brief overview about this site and what it stands for. For those of you who don’t know ”ThePogg” he’s considered an authority when it comes to online casinos and the software they use. He champions the cause of players and affiliates alike. Aside from quality casino and game reviews it also handles player complaints.

Right let’s get on with it. In my reply to EU Casino I notified him that I’m not interested in signing up with the …

Delaware Launches Online Gambling

The state of Delaware released a newspaper article stating that it will legalise intrastate online gambling at the end of October 2013. Operators will now be able to offer casino games like video poker, slots, online poker and mobile gaming.

The Director of CardPlayer Vernon Kirk said, ”Presently we have our hands full because of the integration piece to our service provider, betting company 888 Holdings. It might take a while before the official game launch but we are working with other gaming companies to speed up the process.”

Kirk said that the state is currently in discussions with Nevada and New Jersey to offer poker schools to the residents of Delaware. Although Delaware has a relatively small population, online gambling could boost the state’s ailing economy and create additional employment.

According to Delaware’s Economic and Finance Advisory Council, online gambling can yield as much as $3.75 million in annual tax …

Roxy Palace and Brightshare Fall From Grace

Roxy Palace and Brightshare affiliate programs have been making a lot of news of late, sadly for all the wrong reasons. Both these programs have been online for many years.

To be honest if someone told me a year ago that they would hit the skids I would have been very surprised indeed. For those of you who haven’t heard yet they have been rogued by GPWA, CAP and Affiliate Guard Dog.

Roxy Affiliates Downward Spiral

What exactly set the wheels in motion for Roxy Palace to be rogued? The affiliate program started closing affiliate accounts without notifying its affiliates. To top it all some affiliates have been promoting Roxy Palace for many years and would have at least deserved some form of courtesy send off.

In its original terms and conditions the program stated that affiliates will earn commission for ‘life’ on all players referred. This is not the case, here’s why. About …

Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year

The staff at Cassaon-casino would like to wish all our players and affiliate managers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We thank you for your continued support throughout the year and we look forward working with you again in 2013.

The online gambling landscape is not as it used to be and some say it has taken a turn for the worst. The industry held its breath this year in the hope that 2012 would have been the year where online poker would have been legalised in the United States.

Unfortunately this was not to be since the US government still perceives online gambling as an evil pass time. As a result many US states took matters into their own hands and started their own online gambling initiatives. Experts believe that this is not the right course of action since state by state legalisation will be ensnared by cumbersome red tape …

UK Treasury Reduces Online Gambling Tax?

The United Kingdom’s Treasury Department is on the verge of lowering the tax rate for online gambling operators. The idea behind the lower tax rate is to lure offshore gambling operators back to the United Kingdom.

UK Treasury Lowers Online Gambling Tax

Many online gambling operators left the UK because the UK government imposed a steep 15 percent tax rate on all Internet betting. The government said that it will gain more in the long run by reducing its current tax rate. The UK government lost a whopping GBP2.1 billion the last seven years. Hence the Treasury is thinking of slashing its current tax rate on online gambling operators by a third.

The reason for the new “point of consumption” taxation is to compel operators to apply for a license from the UK Gambling Commission instead of applying for an offshore one.

The Mail on Sunday pointed out that certain EU countries pay up …
