New Microgaming Slots Tournaments

One of the stand-out characteristics of Microgaming if compared to other internet gaming software providers it releases new casino games virtually every month. Hosted at various sites certain tournaments are not as publicized as slots or blackjack tournaments. Now and again it adds to these tournaments too.

Microgaming just added the large prize pool Midweek Moolah, Weekend Whopper and Monthly Monster events. Lately Microgaming opted to offer internet slots tournaments with small prize pools; the reason for this is that they are popular with players and it is freerolls.

Good Times is the first new internet slot tournament and currently played on the slot game Mad Hatters. It has a prize pool of $100 and shared by the top five players in the following order: $40, $25, $15, $12 and $8. In each event of Good Times a total of 500 players will be allowed to participate. The tournament will last for five hours and each player receives a wagering time of 5 minutes. 25,000 coins is the starting stack and 300 coins is the total amount that could be bet. Players should note that this tournament has one round only but it offers Continue Play options and Rebuys. In total it has five Continue Play options, each offering an extra three minutes of playing time and 15,000 coins and will cost $2. In total there are ten Rebuys, each with an extra five minutes of playing time and 25,000 coins and costs $3.

Midnight Challenge is the second new Microgaming internet slot tournament. It’s structured along the same lines as Good Times. But it differs somewhat from Good Times since it is played on the internet slot game Avalon. Midnight Challenge has a starting stack of 12,500 coins and 200 coins constitute the maximum bet. In each Continue Play and Rebuy option the coins offered have been suitably reduced. 7,500 coins are offered by each Continue Play option and 12,500 offered by each Rebuy.

Easy Money is the last new Microgaming internet slot tournament. It is very popular, since 2,000 players can participate in it. The reason is that the $100 prize pool has more value for money with 10 players splitting it. The player in top position receives $30 and $2 goes to the player in the tenth place. Easy Money is played on the internet slot game Hitman and it’s a single round slots tournament.

The duration of the tournament is five hours; each player receives a wagering time of five minutes. 18,000 coins is the starting stack and 300 coins is the maximum bet. Unfortunately there are no rebuys but players will benefit from the 50 Continue Play options. An extra three minutes playing time is offered with 7,500 coins and costs $2.

These new slot tournaments are now live at Roxy Palace, JackpotCity and Spin Palace.
