Neteller Names New Features

Neteller received the award for the Best Payment System recently at the annual iGB Affiliate Awards. It does not surprise us at all since Neteller has been revamping its product from the get go and it continues to do so.

Neteller Introduces New Rewards System

Last month it introduced a Refer a Friend program. Should a current electronic payment  user refer a friend to this wallet, then the friend and the user will earn some extra cash. The moment the referred friend uses his/her electronic Wallet, the current user will receive a 20% bonus of the first deposit, subject to a maximum of €16.

The friend will also receive a bonus of 10% of his/her first deposit, €8 is the maximum amount. To benefit from this feature the user must sign into his/her Neteller account first. Then the person must click on the select the “Rewards” link from the left-hand menu, up to five friends’ e-mail addresses must be given with a personalized message and then click on “Send e-mail”. An e-mail invitation will be send to the friends inviting them to create a Neteller account. An unlimited amount of bonuses could be accrued and users are not charged for referring a friend.

Free money transfers is the other new feature. Neteller dropped the fees for money transfers to 0%, the standard rate was 1.9% for all clients. Whether the Neteller user is sending money internationally or domestically no fees are charged. As long as the person has an e-mail address Neteller users can transfer funds to anyone, even if the recipient does not have a Neteller account.

Reward Points is the third feature.  Neteller had this feature in place before but for some mundane reason it has done away with it-bottom line it’s good to see it’s back. Every time users transfer cash via an electronic wallet they’ll earn points, this feature includes the transfer of cash to internet casinos as well. For every U.S dollar transferred one point will be earned. Points accrued could be redeemed for items in the points catalogue, like tablets, televisions, GPS units, sporting goods and even cash.

Neteller says in its latest press release that its VIP program is five years old and has more than 10,000 members. Of late it introduced an even better VIP program based on feedback from its members. Its VIP program comprises of four tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Member levels are based on account activity. There are numerous benefits such as fraud protection, a second account in another currency, free withdrawals and cash back.
