Global Gaming Expo Eyes The Future

Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – The city’s biggest conference has just begun and it’s taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

New casino games and technology tops the list to be introduced at The Global Gaming Expo (G2E), the primary focus of this year’s convention get-together will be on the future of internet casinos and the current global economy and how it may impact on the gaming industry as a whole.

Irrespective of the yearly G2E conference taking place in Las Vegas, a large proportion of casino games are purchased not only in the U.S but in other parts of the world as well. For manufacturers this might bode good news, however, one still wonders if clients from other parts of the globe are snatching much needed business from Las Vegas.

“The substantial increase in the gaming industry in general around the globe is great news for Las Vegas.  Players can now indulge themselves in the variety of casino games Las Vegas has on offer, the more they play the more they want to visit-Viva Las Vegas!”

During the 1970’s when gambling first kicked-off in Atlantic City gambling was frowned upon and most U.S citizens took it with a pinch of salt.  However, all this has changed and the head of  The American Gaming Association, Fahrenkoph agrees that gambling has come a long way since then.

Fahrenkoph is positive that the gaming entertainment industry in Las Vegas is better than ever, obviously there will always be new competition just over the horizon.

“Arguably one of the most important questions that will be raised at this year’s convention gathering is the legalization of online gambling.  From the looks of it, it seems there has been a chance of heart in attitudes of some lawmakers when it comes internet gaming.

Those who are in favour of gambling online in the U.S are holding their breath and hopefully Congress will legalize internet gambling once again.  The casino industry is forever changing and one never knows what might transpire in the near future.

The Global Gaming Expo continues up and till Thursday.  Only members of the casino gaming industry are welcomed.
